Unit 2, E

The project went great and went according to plan though we fell behind a little on time but we caught up and ended up finishing earlier than expected. I have learnt that filming in a public place can be challenging as you have to maintain your actors and the environment which was difficult but I managed it to the best of my ability.

Unit 2, D

I worked with my team effectively and listened to feedback and their suggestions. We all worked together well as a team and I fulfilled my role as the director to the best of my ability with the experience I had. I worked well with the actors and they followed my instructions well and to the best of their ability’s which resulted in us everything going to plan and making my job easier as a result. My team also followed instructions well as I asked them to preform them.

Unit 2, C

After watching Lost Poppy I am happy with the finished project and the same goes for how I acted in my role. I was the director and my aim was to work with my actors to create the film we all envisioned. I preformed my role to the best of my ability and was pleased with my work.

Considering the budget we still managed to get a child actor with actual filming expirence which was amazing. This made my job easier as well though it was still a challenge as I've never worked with a child actor before.

Unit 2, B

The resource I will need is a copy of the script and that is about it as the director I don’t need many resources I just have to make sure the actors and the camera man knows what they’re doing and when to do it.
The practical issues where working in a public place as the environment was not controlled and anything could happen to stop filming such as people walking in front of the camera I can resolve this by putting signs up to tell people we are filming in the area. Lighting may be an issue but because we are shooting inside during the day I don’t think it will be a problem.

Unit 2, A

My role in the project was the director and as the director I worked with the actors and directed people by telling them how I wanted them to perform for the cinematographer. As director I had to work with a lot of actors in this project and give them direction of when to preform and where. My aim when creating the project was to work effectively as a director and make my actors feel secure in their role and direct them when to act. This was all to achieve the vision that me and all the other member want to achieve for our film.

Unit 1, D

The Arts organization I have participated in is the showroom. This has allowed me to further my understanding of aspect of film and other technical aspects of film such as editing. I have done an editing workshop while being on the course and worked with a man called Dan who showed us how to edit footage and different software for editing then I normally would use. I have also met other people will doing the course, I have met a directors, producers and a lot more people while doing the showroom course. We have done workshops on script writing, networking and art directing as well as others. This course has also allowed me to meet other people around my age as dedicated to film as I am and give new opportunities. This course has allowed me to pursue new opportunity’s I normally wouldn’t be able to.

Unit 1, C

Film review
Star Wars Rogue One

Star Wars is a well known franchise guaranteed to please star wars fan with it abundance of blasters and light sabers and Star Wars Rogue One is no different offering everything the old Star Wars films did and more. It’s a truly electric feeling watching it in the cinema in the first time with the large screen and surround sound. The cinema experience for this film was amazing as every small detail was magnified on the big screen. The experience of the cinema made the film even better as other people reactions to the scenes gave the film more emotion and ethicized the emotions and actions of the characters.

The plot of Rogue One is very good with the story focusing on the grey area of the rebellion and what sacrifices everyone had to make because of the empire. The characters performances throughout the film where very good in my opinion and each character was relatable and allowed the audience to become engrossed in the character to grow attached to new faces in the Star Wars francize. The bad guy for this film is not as iconic as the others but it is made up for the appearances of Darth Vader make up for this fact with his character holding a real presence on the big screen. His character actual fulfills his true purpose of being truly scary especially for the last scene toward the end of the film that any Star Wars fan can appreciate.

Non Star Wars fans will also appreciate this, as you do not need to have watched the other film to appreciate this film as the visuals are bright and exciting and the drama toward the end of the film is truly gripping and anybody who appreciates a good storyline and character development can appreciate this film. Though to some people who haven’t watched any other Star Wars film this film may interested them into the Star Wars francize which may surprise them as this film hold a different tone. But the film does create some plot holes in the francize but it does slide nicely into the 4th Star Wars film A New Hope.

I watched the film at the showroom with my friends and it was a good expirence that I was able to share with others because of the cinema expirence.

Overall this film was very entertain and I found that the storyline was gripping and the characters and the development of them meant that anybody can relate to at least one character only to have all the character be take from the universe as you grow attached to them.

Unit 1, C

Your Name

The film your name was not typically my kind of film not because it was Japanese or anime it was because it was a romance and I typically don't watch those types of films but I must admit this film was amazing and totally caught me off guard. The visuals were beautiful as well as the art style of the anime as it was simular to an art style I had seen before.

The plot was a little stereotypical for an anime to begin but with ruining the film there is a huge twist that I didn't see coming and it took an already good film to the next level by Deeping the story as well as the emotional depth as it became a race again time for the characters. The cliff hangers in the film made me feel frustrated and annoyed which I think  make a good film when you feel emotion for two characters story's on screen. I'm keeping the story to a minimum so I don't ruin the film but I definitely recommend it to anyone start out watching anime.
